Meyn-Ishida has installed a complete wall-to-wall plant adjacent to the existing factory for Wipasz in Poland during 2011-2013. The first task will be to replace the existing live bird arrival system and upgrade the current bulk pack operation with advanced weighing and tray packing capabilities to enable it to produce a more sophisticated range of products.
The next step will be to deliver and install Meyn-Ishida equipment for a completely new to build processing plant. Meyn-Ishida combines the poultry processing expertise of Meyn with the weighing, packing and end-of-line knowhow of Ishida to offer a full range of integrated systems and equipment. The award of the contract followed visits by Wipasz to existing installations during which Meyn-Ishida was able to demonstrate the added value of its integrated solutions and expertise in optimising the use of space in poultry processing plants, as there were major space constraints at the existing plant.
