Thorite, the UK’s leading supplier of air compressors, air tools, pneumatics and process products is set to open its Bristol Sales Centre on 10th April bringing the total number of Thorite Sales Centres to eleven.
Alan Donkersley is Thorite’s Sales Director: “We looked long and hard at areas across the UK which not only have a significant number of existing Thorite customers but also areas containing companies in the maintenance and repair sectors who are not Thorite customers. The Bristol area showed the most potential.”
Thorite prides itself on being the UK’s only complete compressed air, pneumatics and process specialist and is an Official Distributor for well over 200 major fluid power manufacturers. These include Norgren, SMC, Festo, Parker, Burkert Aro and Piab, the bulk of whose products are available on next-day delivery.

In fact, employing the right people for important positions has always been of paramount importance and at the Bristol Sales Centre, Thorite has been able to employ managers with extensive knowledge of both pneumatics and the local area.
Stephen Boyle has been appointed General Manager. He is married with two children and has spent the last eight years in a technical and sales support role in the South West and South Wales.
The Sales and Service Centre Manager is David Lewis. David started as a customer service representative rising to acting branch manager for an industrial bearing distributor. He also has strong local industry knowledge.
The Bristol Sales and Service Centre is stocked with the best products for the local industry with easily identifiable areas for compressors, tooling and spray equipment.
