Alfa Laval  has been certified by independent auditors – ISOQAR – as being in compliance with three separate quality management standards.

Certification has been earned in ISO 9001 Quality Management, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety and most recently ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards.

With the newly acquired ISO 14001 certification, Alfa Laval have pledged to help build a more sustainable future by committing to: reduce their carbon footprint, purchase sustainably produced  and sourced products, and reduce and recycle as much waste as possible.

Richard Kelly, MD of Alfa Laval said: “Many of our customers, especially in the environment, municipal waste and oil & gas sectors require their suppliers to meet the strict environmental criteria set by the government and their own governing bodies.”

Kelly continued: “Now that we have the ISO 14001 certification, this will allow us to bypass the lengthy process of demonstrating how we achieve this and help us to become their go to supplier as none of our competitors have all three qualifications.”
