With an operating method similar to Fluke’s 743/744 Series Documenting Process Calibrators, the company’s recently introduced 750 Series allows technicians to perform field calibrations and troubleshoot operations quickly. Existing users of the 743/744 Series will be able to start using the new models straight away – no training will be required.
These field tools calibrate temperature, pressure, voltage, current, resistance and frequency and have three operating modes – measure, source or simultaneous measure/source, so technicians can troubleshoot, calibrate or maintain instrumentation with one tool.
The instrument’s menu-driven display guides users through tasks. Programmable calibration routines enable technicians to create and run automated as found/as left procedures to ensure fast, consistent calibrations.
Improvements made to the graphical display mean it is now bright enough to be seen in any light condition, while the multi-lingual interface can display instructions in several languages. The rechargeable Li-ion battery pack provides enough power for a shift and can be charged from within the calibrator. Every 750 series calibrator comes with a C799 soft case.
The Fluke 754 model offers fast HART communication and needs no external box or secondary tool to perform HART calibration and maintenance.
