A  British food processing equipment manufacturer has continued its global expansion plans by appointing an agent in the Indian snacks market.

Fabcon Food Systems (FFS) has appointed SM Food Engineering as its official representative in India, with the Indore-based company set to play a key role in growing’s the manufacturer’s presence across India by adding FFS products to its existing range.

Marking its fifth anniversary this year, the new agreement will help build on the 100-strong customer base FFS has created, which is spread across the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Africa.

The partnership is effective immediately and will bring a new portfolio of food processing products to SM Food Engineering’s existing range.
